Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how we process and deliver orders.

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we experience a high volume of orders, processing times may be slightly delayed. We will notify you if there is a 
significant delay.

2. SHIPPING METHODS & DELIVERY TIMES
We ship within South Africa using trusted courier partners.
Estimated delivery times:
Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
Remote Areas: 5–10 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

3. SHIPPING FEES
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated. We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time.

4. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (where applicable).
If you do not receive tracking details within 3 business days, please contact us.

5. SHIPPING DELAYS
The Scent Factory is not responsible for delays caused by:
Courier service disruptions
Weather conditions
Public holidays
Strikes or force majeure events
Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

6. INCORRECT SHIPPING DETAILS
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
If incorrect details are provided and the parcel is returned or lost, additional shipping fees may apply.

7. LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
If your package arrives damaged or is lost in transit:
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Provide photos of damaged items (if applicable).
We will investigate the issue with the courier and provide a resolution.

8. DIGITAL PRODUCTS (If Applicable)
If The Scent Factory sells digital products (such as logo files): Digital products are delivered electronically 
via email or download link. No physical shipping is required.
Delivery is typically instant or within 24 hours after payment confirmation.

9. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (If Applicable)
At this time, The Scent Factory primarily ships within South Africa.
If international shipping is offered: Customers are responsible for customs duties and import taxes.
Delivery times may vary depending on destination.
